How to make homes more energy efficient, comfortable and environmentally friendly.
 
Please join us for the first program in the 2008-2009 Business & Environment Series. This season will focus on practical solutions for retrofitting residential and commercial buildings with information for homeowners, residential and commercial building owners/managers, and contractors.

Attend this vital presentation filled with tips, both large and small on making existing homes and new construction more energy efficient, comfortable, safe, durable and environmentally friendly. Discover which energy saving measures are most cost effective, and some pitfalls and misconceptions in home energy. Learn about green building materials and strategies, building as a system, and strategies for new home construction. 

Joseph Novella and his partner, John Mazur, head up Green Star Insulation, a company dedicated to making homes more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. Joe is a Building Analyst certified by the Building Performance Institute.

Chris Swan, from CL&P, will provide an overview of rebates and options.
