Jazz Is Back!!
Cabaret Night at SoundWaters
Fall 2010

On selected evenings, SoundWaters transforms the SoundWaters Gallery into a casual music or comedy venue featuring top-flight talent. Bring your friends, your dinner and your favorite beverage; sit back; and experience the joy of an evening well spent.

Doors open at 7:00pm for dinner. Shows start at 8:00pm. All tickets are $25. Early reservations are encouraged. Seating is limited and the room fills quickly. For reservations or more information email soundbusiness@soundwaters.org or call (203) 406-3336.

All reservations must be prepaid and received a day before the performance to confirm a seat. Reservations made the day of the performance must be made by phone to confirm availability. No refunds. If you cancel by 12:00pm the day of the performance, you may reschedule for another show.

October 8 - Richard “Cookie” Thomas
A versatile vocalist whose voice is suited to well-known classic standards, Cookie is a favorite among SoundWaters audiences and one of the region’s most well-known performers. His easy, conversational style is a hit among the audience and he always brings a trio of very talented musicians always warm up the room. Early reservations required. The room fills fast when Cookie’s in town.

October 22 - Maydie Myles
Maydie Myles makes her SoundWaters debut, bringing with her authentic, solid and soulful renditions that combine early training in gospel and rhythm and blues with an intimate connection to jazz standards. This promises to be an exciting evening, not to be missed.

December 10 - Nicole Pasternak
Nicole Pasternak returns to SoundWaters with her trio and another engaging evening of Nicole's honest-straight-ahead style, which blends emotion with artistry, whether performing swing, bebop, ballads or Latin jazz.
