ELL and SoundWaters Unite!

On Wednesday, February 24th, SoundWaters had the pleasure of hosting Cynthia and Monica from the Stamford Public Schools. Our staff learned more about how to better cater to the needs of students who are English language learners through our hands-on teaching style. This style of hands-on teaching and learning is a great way for language learners to acquire English. Educators also learned some of the best ways to strengthen the oral language development. With a total of 74 languages spoken in Stamford, our education staff encounters students who speak another language at home everyday. This training will only help make our programs more accessible for the students we teach.
