Students will spend their day practicing environmental stewardship by contributing to initiatives that conserve the shoreline of Long Island Sound. Students will explore coastal habitats and engage in research and critical restoration efforts in a local salt marsh and rocky intertidal zone. This small-group (18 students) college-level program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, tools, and access to Long Island Sound to build their interest in environmental science and to make a meaningful, lasting impact on their local environment. Students will receive community service volunteer credit for their efforts.
