Turn your field trip into a FIELD STUDY!
The Schooner SoundWaters is an ideal platform for a science enrichment program. Share in the experience of sailing with your students as you explore the coastal habitats and water of Long Island Sound aboard the Schooner SoundWaters. Your students will work together to raise sails, haul in a trawl net, and rotate through four multidisciplinary, hands-on STEM learning stations.
A SoundWaters Educator is devoted to each of the four learning stations. This allows the teachers to observe and participate while enjoying a sail aboard the SchoonerSoundWaters. All stations support and amplify CT and NY State Science Curriculum Guidelines.
