Sea Stars Typical Day

• 9:00am: Welcome Campers! Sign in front of our Center in Cove Island Park.  Start the morning off with a game of camouflage, sharks & minnows!
• 9:10am: Let’s get the fun started! Camper pow-wow at the SoundWaters Center.
  9:30am: Science Activity* – What animal do you want to get up close with today? Water experiments, microscopes in the lab, sinking and floating experiments, build a “boat.”
• 11:00am: Art Activity* –Great time to sit as a group and use your creativity. Can you camouflage this animal? Water color habitat paintings, finger art, creative art pieces using collected items found in nature.
• 12:00pm: Lunch
• 1:00pm: Environmental Activity* – Time to explore habitats; what animals live at the rocky shore? Identify and collect invasive species. We’ll have many outdoor adventures!
• 2:00pm: Free Swim at the Beach*
• 3:30pm: Wrap-up. As we pack up let’s share our favorite activity of the day! What is something you want to do tomorrow?
• 4:00pm: Camp day ends – parents pick up campers in front of the Center. Please have your ID ready for pick-up.

Other activities include… swim lessons, animal story time, adventure games, educational games, exploring, discovering, and non-stop fun!
