Terrapin Typical Day

The activities vary depending on weather and session. Below you will find an example daily schedule:

• 9:00am: Welcome Campers! Sign in. Start the morning off with a game on the center field! Kick ball, soccer, frisbee, etc…
• 9:10am: Science Activity* – Let’s head into the laboratory for microscopes! Investigate the animals up close, test the water and solve a mystery.
• 11:00am: Environmental Activity* – Outdoor exploration, of course! Check out some cool habitats; what animals live at the rocky shore? Identify and create a population study! Scavenger hunts around Cove Island Park!
• 12:00pm: Lunch
• 1:00pm: Sailing instructions on Holly Pond
• 3:00pm: Art Activity
• 4:00pm: Camp day ends – parents pick up campers and sign out.

Late hours: activities vary: swim lessons, seining/fishing, adventure games, water games, exploring, discovering, and non-stop fun!

In case of inclement weather, campers continue their fun day inside our air conditioned Environmental Center.
