Bluefish typical day 2016

8:30am	Early campers arrive
9:00am	Sign-in in front of the SoundWaters Coastal Center in Cove Island Park
9:10am	Morning Circle – Discuss day’s schedule, share news or participate in a group game.
9:30am	Sailing instruction and fun on Holly Pond
12:00pm	Lunch
12:30pm	Science Activity – Squid dissections, birding, microscopes, population studies, live animal creature features, build a watershed, volcanoes, sinking and floating, build a “boat”.
2:00pm	Canoeing on Holly Pond
3:00pm	Art Activity – Long Island Sound in a bottle, sand art, water colors, beach sculptures etc.
4:00pm	Sign-out in front of the SoundWaters Coastal Center in Cove Island Park. Please have your ID with you when picking up your camper.
4:00-5:00pm	Late hours: Environmental Activity – explore habitats, water quality testing, make a cloud, community beach service, gardening.
