Cold Temperatures. Cool Science.

The temperatures were frigid and the harbor is iced-in, but there is still science going on.  Our High school Research Intensive students are breaking the ice to reach water because science doesn’t stop for the weather.  They’re collecting water to do plankton population studies and using settling plates to monitor native and invasive species.  Want to work in environmental science?  Get used to the extremes.
