Enjoying the last days of summer in style at Camp SoundWaters

August 20, 2013/in Blog

Outdoor fun and exploration in the salty air! Campers at Camp SoundWaters are relishing every minute of the summer season.

This week the Sea Stars are participating in The “S” (Sound) Games including plankton races, camouflage and a biodiversity game. The Bluefish campers are “Mad Scientisits” conducting experiments everyday such as building a boat, developing slime that mimics fish survival and creating crystals! Opti sailors are rigging, tacking and sailing the terrific breeze on Holly Pond. Pico sailors are challenging their skills on a distance sail out on Long Island Sound and following navigational rules as they sail to a secret island.

A great way to spend the last days of summer!
