Team Development Programs
An effective crew on a sailboat and a high performance team in the workplace demonstrate many of the same skills. A team that executes well on a sailboat will have the skills to perform well in the workplace. The 80-foot gaff-rigged schooner SoundWaters is an ideal learning platform for teams who desire to improve their performance. Working alongside our professional captain and crew, participants have the opportunity to examine critical skills including leadership, communication, managing numerous channels of changing information, dealing with ambiguous situations, and making decisions under pressure. Team members will understand their own strengths and gain clarity about how best to support their colleagues. They will bring back new perspectives on the group and its work. Ultimately, the team and the individuals that are a part of it will improve their ability to achieve the results they desire.
