Chris Witschy, Co-Director
This will be Chris’s 14th year working at Young Mariners! Chris has had many roles at Young Mariners (and its predecessors) since joining in 2006, but is currently a Co-Director of the program. When not working on the water, Chris is a Stamford Public Schools teacher, currently teaching Design in grades 5-8 at Rogers International School. Chris’s favorite part of the summer is being out on the water sharing his love of sailing with his students.
Certifications include: CPR/First Aid + US Sailing Level 1 Instructor
Jeff Bianco, Co-Director
This is Jeff’s fourteenth summer with Young Mariners, and he’s excited for another great summer! With a focus on character education and social emotional learning, Jeff strives to help students achieve post-secondary college and career readiness. He believes that our sailing program is an excellent setting in which to do so.
Certifications include: CPR/First Aid + US Sailing Level 1 Instructor
