Mock Interview Night!

This past Monday evening SoundGeneration Interns participated in the first annual Mock Interview Night at SoundWaters. SoundGeneration is dedicated to inspiring students to make a difference in our local environment through hands on experience. Along with this comes the goal of providing our interns with job skills to help prepare them for the future. One such job skill is the art of constructing a resume and interviewing skills. The evening was run in a speed-interview style during which students spent a total of 5 minutes interviewing with an individual before moving on to the next interviewer. Prior to the start of the night, students were instructed in appropriate interviewing techniques such as maintaining eye contact and beginning the interview with a firm handshake. Each student received a feedback sheet with notes from interviewers on their interviewing ability. Keep an eye out for our upcoming Career Night!
