Stark Elementary explores the food chain!

First graders from Stark Elementary enjoyed a beautiful fall morning at Cove Island Park as they learned all about the creatures of Long Island Sound. One of their favorite activities was using nets to catch some of the tiny plankton that forms the base of the Sound’s food chain. They then examined their finds under microscopes and learned all about the creatures they caught!
