Terrific support Fairfield County’s Community Foundation

The Fairfield County’s Community Foundation (FCCF) recently facilitated two $15,000 grants in support of SoundWaters from donor-advised funds they manage. The first grant will help fund the Science Stars program for girls where we dive deep in to hands-on science and prove that it’s attitude, not aptitude that keep girls from entering STEM fields of study and careers.  The second donor-advised grant supports SoundWaters general operating expenses and gives us the flexibility to allocate the funds where we need it most when we need it. This is particularly helpful for providing scholarships and school subsidies to ensure that no child misses the opportunity to participate due to cost.
