Tronox Volunteer Day at SoundWaters

On July 20, over 30 Tronox employees got their hands dirty at the Coastal Education Center.  Continuing SoundWaters preparation for Camp SoundWaters, the group cleaned the small boats and sails, put a fresh coat of paint on the Center’s back porch, cleaned the debris from the beach to make it safe for campers, built deck-boxes for additional camp storage, and landscaped around the Center’s perimeter.  The group finished their volunteer efforts with a tour of the Center’s aquarium, followed by a coastal cleanup of Cove Island Park, and then embarked on a well-deserved sunset sail aboard the Schooner SoundWaters.
