3rd Graders explore animal adaptations!
3rd grade students in Stamford and Norwalk received some surprise guests in their classroom – animals from the Long Island Sound! Earlier this fall, SoundWaters educators brought these students to visit and learn about some of the Sound’s coastal habitats; now the children are expanding their knowledge by learning about how animals survive in these habitats. Our students are real scientists, using their observations to help them figure out how each creature interacts with its surroundings!
