Before and After: A new home for growing terrapins!

Our terrapins are growing so quickly! We moved our four largest hatchlings to the specially designed “Terrapin Tank, with much deeper water, more space, and a built-in ramp to a basking area. In order to get this tank ready for its new inhabitants, we replaced the sand substrate with rocks and gave everything a very thorough cleaning. Once the water temperature was just right, the terrapins moved in! They join a fifth terrapin, our adult male.
