Camp SoundWaters Spotlight- Meet Kelly!

Meet Sailing Instructor Kelly! Kelly is a U.S. Level 1 Sailing Instructor and Waterfront Lifeguard for Camp SoundWaters. Get to know her below!

How many years have you been with SoundWaters?

This summer will be my second summer at Camp SoundWaters. Last year I was a Waterfront Lifeguard and this year I am a U.S. Level 1 Sailing Instructor.

What is your favorite part about being a camp counselor?

My favorite part of seeing the kids having fun on an off the water and seeing their improvement in sailing!

What is your favorite camp week theme?

My favorite theme was the boat building week because everyone had a lot of fun decorating the boats and then racing them at the end of the week.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love spending time on the water with my friends and my dog!

Whats your school/major?

I am a senior at Greenwich High School and plan on studying either psychology or biology in college next year.

What are your certifications?

I am CPR, First Aid, AED, and waterfront lifeguard and U.S. Sailing Level 1  Instructor certified.

Name one fun fact about yourself.

I lived in Florida for 12 years!
