Not a fish tale

So there we were, no kidding, true story, sailing with the 4th graders from Dunbar Elementary school in Bridgeport. Since it was pretty windy and a good sea was running we stayed inside Black Rock Harbor. While off of Captain’s Cove the students deployed our plankton net hoping to catch and look at various zooplankton. The students and crew were surprised to find a 25cm menhaden (also referred to as a bunker).
