Molting Spider Crabs!

The spider crabs are molting in the SoundWaters aquarium! Spider crabs contain an exoskeleton that protects them from predators. The Schooner SoundWaters haul’s out ending another great season.

With the mast’s pulled yesterday, the schooner SoundWaters was hauled out of the water today capping off a great 2014 season with: 1728nm traveled, 256 programs, and nearly 7,900 passengers. Now we will be busy putting the boat to bed for winter.
