The Stamford Hurricane Gate will be closed for an extended period of time while they do maintenance. Fortunately the schooner SoundWaters is docked outside the gate at Brewers Yacht Haven.

After a successful Milford Oyster Festival the Captain and Crew are enjoying a great sail to Old Saybrook. We’re currently making 6.6 knots past Falkner’s Island.
Camp SoundWaters campers were hard at work this week as Mad Scientists! 17 egg nests were built and 8 survived the 15′ drop! Way to go future engineers. The week was filled with activities including boat and bridge designing, invisible ink mysteries, Ooblek, volcanoes, rocket ships and candy chromatography experiments!
