SoundWaters at Hammonasset Beach State Park

October 22, 2017/in Blog

The 7th graders of Old Saybrook Middle School joined the The SoundWaters educators in Madison, CT to conduct a coastal watershed study of Long Island Sound.

During their coastal population study, seen here, the students strapped on their waders and life jackets to explore Long Island Sound with dip nets and seine nets. They caught animals such as Grass Shrimp, Bunker, Atlantic Silversides, and Comb Jellyfish.

Check back to see more SoundWaters adventures!
