Winter Maintenance work

Although the schooner SoundWaters sailing season has wrapped up, winter maintenance work continues. Jess is busy cleaning out the water tanks in preparation for a new coat of paint.

The schooner SoundWaters was Framed

The last 48 hours has been a flurry of activity on the schooner SoundWaters.  The green topside and red bottom was painted Sunday and Monday.  Today the the crew built the frame for the cover.

Sailing to Norwalk for the last time this season

The crew just wrapped up 3 weeks of STEM Education programs at Captain’s Cove Seaport. While there they sailed with 910 students from 15 different schools from Fairfield, Bridgeport, and Stratford.
